You can delete your account from the app's Settings screen. Tap Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes all your vouches, matches, and profile data within 30 days. If you need assistance, email support@thelovebird.co.
How do I report a user or a fake profile?
Tap the flag icon on any profile or match conversation to report it. Reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours. For urgent safety concerns, email support@thelovebird.co directly.
How do I edit or remove a vouch someone wrote for me?
You can manage vouches from your profile page. Tap any vouch to see options to hide or remove it. The person who wrote the vouch can also edit or delete it from their side. Contact us if you need help removing content that violates our guidelines.
I didn't receive a verification email. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, tap Resend verification email on the sign-up screen. Still having trouble? Email support@thelovebird.co with the email address you used to sign up.
How does the background check work?
Background and credit checks are optional. When you opt in, the check runs through our vetted screening partner. You'll see a clear readout — not a vague badge — and only other users who've also opted in will appear in your feed. Your results are never shared with matches without your consent.
Is Lovebird free to use?
Yes — the core app is free. Background and credit checks are optional paid add-ons when you're ready for them.
